Pain, Every One Has It

I am very surprised that the adds on here are all to do with pain as that is what I have come here to talk about, the pain in my life and how I deal with it! I have a chronic pain condition called Fibromyalgia. I live day to day trying to stay in the moment as learning to live with pain one must except it and even become friends with it so as to take back the power one needs to live with it. Pain is my friend it leads me onward toward a new tomorrow. It never allows me to stay stuck for to long in one place because if you have ever had pain, say like when you stub your toe, the thing that usually happens is you start jumping around yelling or crying out, at least that is my experience! Just like that pain cause us to move and to voice our feelings. In the same way I move through my pain by reaching out with the written word and share my experience with all who choose to listen. In doing so I find that love comes to me from many and that gives me hope, joy and friendship all of which sooth the pain to a manageable level. I will begin with some of my older writings and then work my way toward writing my life story. I hope you find in my words the love, strength, and hope to help your self through the pain in your life. One thing I have found out is that pain is pain, It matters not what kind of pain or where is comes from but that all pain is the same, It hurts and we need help from each other to survive it!
The place I turned to years ago to learn about my pain was a 12 step group called ACOA Adult Children of Alcoholics. We came to call it in our group Adult Children of Dysfunctional Families. You do not have to come from a alcoholic family to have a dysfunctional family, it is very common to find dysfunction in most families. So don't feel like your alone or that your family is unusual because we are many! The thing that helps in any problem is to "Learn" education, seeking answers is the best medication for any problem. Check my posts to find the answers I have to share. The things that I found in my search through my life of pain.
